Doing technical and coding interviews over Skype

Skype has launched a preview feature that helps recruiters conduct technical and coding interviews.

The preview feature allows recruiters to host a video call on top of a code editor that runs in a Microsoft Edge or Chrome browser.

The built-in code editor supports seven programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Ruby.

Skype has also included built-in syntax highlighting to help prevent syntactic mistakes during an interview.

The new interview feature currently only works for browsers set to English.
