Effective Measure has released its statistics for November 2017, which reveal what South Africa’s Internet audience looks like.
The statistics reveal there were 43 million unique browsers in the country in November, which were served over 1.15 billion pages by local websites.
There is an even split between male and female Internet users in South Africa, while 37% of users are married.
The most popular South African website was News24, followed by Gumtree, TimesLive, IOL, and MSN.
The report also showed that 78% of users access the Internet daily.
