Instagram is down
Instagram’s website is down, returning an error when users navigate to https://instagram.com.
Attempting to access the website returns a blank page with the following text: “5xx Server Error”.
Website monitoring platform Down Detector showed a massive spike in user reports of problems with Instagram, with issues beginning at 09:24.
Other reports suggest the website is not the only service affected, with the Instagram mobile application also experiencing problems.
Users have taken to other forms of social media, including Twitter, to report issues with the platform.
