DStv Omusic site to close down
MultiChoice will close the Omusic website on 31 March 2012, explaining that the decision was made after reviewing their current online products and consolidating their services.
DStv Online explained that Omusic.com no longer aligns with their core business strategy.
“DStv Online has reviewed its current product offering and consolidated its services to make certain it can focus on delivering the most value to its customers,” said DStv Online.
According to MultiChoice the Omusic website will still be active during the month of March. “The site will officially close on 31 March and thereafter we will be refunding your Omusic.com balance to your credit card,” said MultiChoice.
DStv Online said that they have no plans to launch a similar offering in the foreseeable future.
