The May 2012 DMMA/Effective Measure website statistics were released recently, revealing that Howzit.MSN is the largest local website.

The May 2012 Effective Measure statistics reveal that Howzit.MSN attracted a total of 3,525,852 unique monthly visitors last month, edging out News24 and IOL.

When it came to South African only visitors News24 reigned supreme with 2,183,165 unique monthly browsers, followed by Howzit.MSN and IOL.

With the Super Rugby and Formula 1 seasons in full swing and the popular IPL championship reaching its conclusion in May, Supersport, Sport24 and PlanetF1 performed particularly well.
