MyBroadband achieves record first quarter

MyBroadband had an exceptional start to 2024, with a record number of advertising campaigns and commercial partnerships in the first quarter.

Over the first three months of the year, 7.4 million readers visited MyBroadband, and it served 27 million pages to these readers.

What makes MyBroadband unique is the quality of its readers. It has a very strong business-to-business (B2B) following, including:

  • 378,000 CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, CFOs, and directors.
  • 711,000 IT managers and middle managers.
  • 1.1 million IT professionals.
  • 281,000 business owners.

The double-digit readership growth and strong IT and business community make MyBroadband the marketing destination of choice for top IT and financial companies.

In Q1 2024, a record number of companies partnered with MyBroadband to promote their products and services.

Our partners include IT and telecommunications companies, banks, financial institutions, car brands, insurance providers, retailers, eCommerce shops, and consultancies.

MyBroadband’s technology talk show, What’s Next with Aki Anastasiou, has also shown exceptional growth.

It is the undisputed leader in South Africa’s leading technology podcast space, with over 6 million views since its launch in 2020.

MyBroadband’s large and growing readership and strong foothold in the business-to-business (B2B) market means the top companies advertise on the site.

These companies include Vodacom, MTN, Telkom, Absa, Standard Bank, AWS, Afrihost, BCX, Cell C, Deloitte, Discovery, Investec, MultiChoice, Pick n Pay, Spar, and FNB.

Big tech brands, like Samsung, Huawei, Lenovo, Toshiba, TP-Link, and Hisense, also have a strong presence on MyBroadband.

MyBroadband sales director Cara Muller said it is fantastic to be at the centre of such a vibrant industry and to help their partners grow.

“Marketing campaigns on MyBroadband performed exceptionally well, which is great news for our commercial partners,” she said.
