Top websites in South Africa
The December 2012 Effective Measure statistics were recently unveiled, showing that News24 attracts the most unique visitors, followed by Howzit.MSN and IOL.
Effective Measure is the official traffic measurement partner of the Digital Media and Marketing Association (DMMA), and provides accurate traffic statistics for South Africa’s top websites.
According to the December 2012 Effective Measure statistics, News24 attracted 2.7 million unique visitors, followed by Howzit.MSN with 2.5 million unique browsers and IOL with 1.8 million.
Supersport, which is the country’s premier sporting website, ranked fourth with 1.1 million unique browsers. MyBroadband was fifth, also with 1.1 million unique monthly browsers.
