Microsoft has announced several changes to Outlook.com, including the new-look Mail that was previously in beta.
It will also test changes to the Outlook.com calendar and contacts apps, which users can opt in to by switching to the “Try the beta” toggle on the top right of their inbox.
The company summarised the changes to Outlook.com as follows:
- Mail – The new look will now be standard for all users. This includes faster performance, improved Skype integration, and new ways to access add-ons.
- Calendar – Changes include a more responsive interface, streamlined interface for adding events, and icons to help identify events faster.
- People – The contacts interface for Outlook.com includes a new look, quicker access to favourites, and easier ways to view, edit, and create contacts.
