Several YouTube users reported in the early hours of the morning, around 03:15, that the service was down, TechCrunch reported.
The Google-owned online video service acknowledged the problem on Twitter at 03:41.
“Thanks for your reports about YouTube, YouTube TV and YouTube Music access issues. We’re working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated,” YouTube said.
Nearly two hours later, it confirmed that the problem had been resolved.
YouTube did not say what caused the outage.
