Jaguar to build all-electric E-Pace crossover

Jaguar is reportedly planning to release an all-electric crossover vehicle in the near future – dubbed the E-Pace.

According to a report by Automobile, the E-Pace – which would be the first fully-electric car from Jaguar – will feature efficient aerodynamics and may be smaller then the manufacturer’s new sporty F-Pace (featured in the headline image).

The new car will reportedly be all-wheel drive, and will compete against Tesla’s Model X and an expected production version of the Audi E-Tron Quattro concept.

Automobile also reported that the E-Pace will be built on behalf of Jaguar Land Rover by Magna Steyr – the factory which produces the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and Mini Countryman.
