Range Rover has revealed its Evoque convertible – with a flip-down fabric top replacing the urban off-roader’s solid roof.
The top takes 18 seconds to go down, and 21 seconds to come back up – and can be operated at speeds up to 48km/h.
The vehicle also features Land Rover’s In Control Touch Pro infotainment system, with a 10.2-inch screen.
Power is delivered by a 2.0-liter, 178kW/240HP, 4-cylinder engine – paired with a 9-speed transmission.
The Evoque convertible is scheduled to go on sale in mid-2016, with a starting price of $51,470 (R734,000).
