Fiat has unveiled its first-ever double-cab bakkie, the Fullback.
The double-cab was shown off at the Dubai Motor Show, and is “closely related to the Mitsubishi Triton”, according to Autoblog.
The Fullback is powered by a 2.4-litre turbo diesel engine, available in 111kW/150hp or 134kw/180hp variants. Drivers can choose either a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic version, while four-wheel drive comes standard.
“Fiat will roll out the Fullback in markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, where it will compete against the likes of the Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, and Volkswagen Amarok,” stated the report.
