Faraday Future unveils Tesla-beating race car

Faraday Future has unveiled its concept EV race car, the FFZER01.

According to a report by Autoblog, the car produces over 1,000hp (745kW), goes from 0-100km/h in under 3 seconds, and will break the 320km/h mark.

Faraday Future plans to build a $1-billion factory in Las Vegas, and said the FFZER01 concept rides on the same Variable Platform Architecture that will form the base of its production models.

The FFZER01 is a single-seat race car, with a steering wheel that allows you to dock your smartphone in the middle of it.

Faraday Future said the car’s styling will be present in the design of future models.

Images of the vehicle, along with a reveal trailer, are posted below.
