Audi unveils hydrogen-powered H-Tron Quattro

Audi has unveiled its H-Tron Quattro concept car, which promises a long range, swift refuelling, and sporty performance.

The H-Tron combines a hydrogen fuel cell achieving an output of up to 110kW with a battery that can provide a temporary boost of 100kW.

The car can be fully refuelled with hydrogen in around four minutes, and is then ready to drive for up to 600km.

The H-Tron concept is closely related to the Audi E-Tron Quattro concept car – an electric-drive SUV.

Both are based on the second-generation modular longitudinal platform.
