Massive Honda recall over faulty airbags

Honda has announced it is recalling an additional 2.23 million vehicles due to issues with airbag inflators produced by Takata.
According to a report by Autoblog, this brings the number of vehicles affected by the airbag fault to 8.51 million in the US.
Takata’s airbag woes have made headlines over recent years, with 14 carmakers and 28 million inflators affected. 10 deaths have been linked to the airbags worldwide, according to reports.
The latest Honda vehicles affected include:
- 2005-2012 Acura RL
- 2007-2011 Honda CR-V
- 2007-2016 Acura RDX
- 2007-2014 Honda Ridgeline
- 2009-2014 Honda Fit
- 2009-2014 Acura TL
- 2010-2014 Honda FCX Clarity
- 2010-2014 Honda Insight
- 2010-2013 Acura ZDX
- 2011-2015 Honda CR-Z
- 2013-2016 Acura ILX
