Tesla has unveiled its Model 3 – a slick 5-seater with a range of 346km and a price tag of $35,000.
Tesla said it received 115,000 preorders for the Model 3 on launch day, with the car set to reach customers by the end of 2017, stated Autoblog.
The bottom-of-the-line Model 3 will go from 0-100km/h in under 6 seconds, with Elon Musk stating that Tesla “does not make slow cars”.
Musk predicts that Tesla will produce 500,000 vehicles a year in the near future.
