MyBroadband recently conducted a lifestyle survey, which showed that South African IT professionals and techies would like to drive an Audi, Mercedes-Benz, or BMW.
The survey was completed by 2,020 respondents, many of who were IT professionals, IT managers, and general techies.
For this article only the feedback from the IT professionals, IT managers, and general techies was considered.
The results showed that most IT professionals and general techies currently drive Volkswagen, Toyota, and Ford vehicles.
If money was not a consideration, German luxury vehicles would be the first choice.
The graphic below shows which cars South African IT professionals drive, and which cars they would buy if money was in vast supply.
It should be noted that ultra-luxury vehicle brands like Rolls Royce, Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche, and Lamborghini were not included in the survey.
