Porsche has unveiled the fastest and most powerful street-legal 911 model ever, the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
It is insanely fast, hardcore inside and out, and a piece of engineering beauty.
The GT2 RS features a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat six engine which produces 515kW – fitted into a body which weighs 1,470kg (with a full tank of fuel).
This results in a rear-wheel-drive 911 that goes from 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds and will reach a top speed of 340km/h.
Porsche’s 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) with “short, succinct gearshifts and PDK SPORT mode” also comes standard on the car.
The new GT2 is available in the US, starting at $290,000 (R3.8 million)
