Lyft is testing a monthly subscription
Lyft said it is testing monthly subscription plans for active users, The Verge reported.
The ride-hailing company will target its monthly subscriptions at users who spend up to $450 per month on the service.
Lyft CEO Logan Green said the company would offer a selection of subscription packages, including:
- 30 Lyft rides for $199 per month.
- 60 Lyft rides for $399 per month.
These packages would cover rides which cost up to $15.
“We are going to move the entire industry from one based on ownership to one based on subscription,” said Green.
