Driver shot dead outside of Cape Town
Update: Uber has stated that the driver shot in Mitchells Plain has not been confirmed as an Uber driver.

A 45-year-old Uber driver was shot and killed in Mitchells Plain on Monday morning.
Police spokesperson Captain FC Van Wyk said that an unknown gunman shot the driver in Judo Street in Beacon Valley.
“A murder case has been registered for investigation,” he said.
No arrests have been made.
