Eric Schmidt now on Google+
Eric Schmidt joins high profile Google employees such as Sergey Brin and Larry Page on Google+, with a newly public feed where general Google+ users can now add him to their circles and follow his public updates.
His first public post is a link to his remembrances of Steve Jobs on the Charlie Rose show on CNBC, and in BusinessWeek.
Schmidt has set a profile picture of himself that looks around 20 years old, but this hasn’t stopped over 6500 people adding him to their circles already.
Questions have been raised as to why the Google chairman has previously not used his company’s own social media product, preferring other mediums such as Twitter.
One Google+ user highlighted this with his comment, “It was so strange that you do not use your own product, you do not believe it will be working? And you use twitter more often than your G+. (sic)”
