Adobe moves against Flash exploit
A vulnerability in Flash that allowed hackers to gain control of a victim’s computer, was the target of an update by Adobe.
“There are reports that the vulnerability is being exploited in the wild in active targeted attacks designed to trick the user into clicking on a malicious file delivered in an e-mail message,” said Adobe in security message.
The company believes that the exploit targets Flash player on Internet Explorer for Windows only, though it urged Mac, Android and Linux users to update their versions of flash as well.
Adobe suggests users update to the 11.2.202.235 version of Flash to remove the exploit risk.
