Nearly 1 in 5 Android users plan iPhone switch

While Android is leading the operating system race of smartphones, it’s not receiving the same treatment when it comes to loyalty.

A new survey, which covered over 2,000 US smartphone users, has revealed that 48%of Android users plan on buying another Android device, while 17% say they’ll move to iPhone.

The other 34% say that they’re undecided with their next smartphone purchase.

On the other hand, when iPhone users were asked about their future smartphone plans, 77% said that they plan to buy an iPhone for their next smartphone, with just 5% planning to switch to Android device and 18% still undecided.

In the case of RIM, only 2% of BlackBerry users said that they will purchase another BlackBerry smartphone.
