Pheed, a free social network platform, has launched an iPhone app.

Pheed was launched on 12 October 2012, and allows users to share digital content such as photos, videos, audio, voice-notes, as well as schedule live broadcast events via the web interface.

Users can monetise their content by applying a monthly subscription fee to their channel, or a pay-per-view option is available for a live broadcast event. In both cases, the users select their own pricing and earn directly.

Pheed also has some strong celebrity backing from the likes of Miley Cyrus, Paris Hilton and David Guetta, to name a few.

To download the app, head over to the Pheed page on the App Store.

Pheed aims to release an Android app in the coming weeks.
