SkyDrive app gets update

Microsoft has released an update for its SkyDrive app which adds a number of new improvements.

The update includes support that allows users to upload any file type from an SD card, and is out for both the Android and Windows Phone-based versions of the app.

The Android update also now allows users to manage and rename features and media in their SkyDrive library – something that the iOS app already featured.

The updated apps can be found in the Google Play store, and Windows Marketplace.
