The best time to see South Africa’s solar eclipse

South Africans will be able to view a partial solar eclipse on 1 September, which will be visible from southern and central Africa.

According to Space.com, the best place to view the eclipse will be southern Africa.

The next annular solar eclipse is expected to take place in February 2017, followed by a total solar eclipse in August 2017.
