Kalahari support site hacked

The Kalahari support website (help.kalahari.com) has been taken advantage of by search engine optimisation (SEO) spammers who have found ways to inject their links into the site’s pages.
It is not clear what vulnerability the spammers exploited to hack Kalahari’s Help site.
“We’ve found some links that have been injected into our help page code, which is being placed there by spammers seeking to improve their own SEO rankings,” a spokesperson for the online retailer confirmed.
Asked whether any customer data had been compromised, Kalahari assured us that these help pages are not actually related to the kalahari.com site.
“Our help pages are hosted on a separate WordPress domain,” the spokesperson explained.
“There has been absolutely no compromise to the kalahari.com site, our data, or our customer data,” said Kalahari. “Kalahari.com is fully encrypted and secure.”
Kalahari added that it is working hard to remove the links as soon as possible.
