10-year-old hacks Instagram
Finnish news site Iltalehti reported that a 10-year-old has found a major flaw in Instagram, earning him $10,000 from Facebook.
Only known as Jani, he said he used malicious code which allowed him to delete other people’s comments from Instagram.
Jani discovered the vulnerability in March, and alerted Instagram of the security flaw via email.
The company responded, thanking him for the information and rewarding him with $10,000.
Jani used the money to buy a new bicycle and football, and new computers for him and his brothers.
