South African university website hacked

A hacker by the Twitter name of @SinfulHazeCE has taken down the University of Limpopo’s website again, after previously taking down the site as part of the #OpAfrica campaign.

The perpetrator, who said they are part of The New World Hackers and associate with Anonymous, took down the university’s website while stating its security “sucks”.

The hacker also changed the website’s description, so a Google search result for the institution displays: “Your security sucks get it fixed, scrap the website, start over.”

@SinfulHazeCE further posted what he claimed was the login details for the university’s Intranet.
