Close to 800,000 unique email addresses, usernames, and plain text passwords have been exposed after the Brazzers forum was hacked.
Motherboard reported that although “the data originated from the company’s separate forum, Brazzers users who never signed up to the forum may also find their details included in the dump”.
Brazzers told Motherboard that the latest incident matches an incident which occurred in 2012 with the Brazzers forum, which was managed by a third party.
“The incident occurred because of a vulnerability in the said third-party software, vBulletin, and not Brazzers itself.”
At the time of publishing, the Brazzers forums were down – with the message “Brazzers Forum is currently under construction”.
