Microsoft patches exploited Windows security vulnerabilities

Patch Tuesday saw Microsoft issue updates that address 68 security vulnerabilities, PC World reported.

The patches cover Windows, Office, Edge, Internet Explorer, and SQL Server.

Among the fixes issued were three for publicly-disclosed vulnerabilities.

Google disclosed one relating to Adobe Flash, affecting all currently-supported versions of Windows, 10 days after notifying Microsoft about it. It is listed under MS16–135 on TechNet.

Another zero-day vulnerability affecting all supported versions of Windows is MS16–132.

According to Microsoft, the update patches CVE–2016–7256, which has not been publicly disclosed but attackers have been found exploiting the vulnerability.
