1Password has launched Travel Mode – a feature it developed based on feedback from project management software house Basecamp.
Basecamp recently made its employee handbook public, which had a section on using 1Password. This included instructions for keeping work security information off devices when travelling internationally.
“We knew right away that we wanted to make it easier for everyone to follow this great advice,” said 1Password.
When you turn on Travel Mode, every vault will be removed from your devices, except ones you’ve marked as safe for travel.
Travel Mode is available to everyone with a 1Password membership, available for $2.99 per year.
