Android KitKat for LG smartphones in SA

The LG G2 and LG G Flex will receive upgrades to the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system, Android KitKat, by the end of May 2014.
In a statement issued on Monday (5 May 2014), LG said it is working hard to ensure the seamless upgrade to Android KitKat.
The LG G2 Mini and LG L SeriesIII (L70 / L40) will run KitKat from launch, LG said.
“The new KitKat Android OS promises to bring a more polished design, improved performance and all-new features to the Android stable,” LG said.
“LG is excited to bring this to all LG Mobile users, but only when it is fully ready for use.”
