HTC One M8 SA price emerges

The Orange online store has informed customers that it now has stock of the HTC One M8, and is selling the Gold, Silver, and Grey models for R8,975.
HTC launched the One M8 in North America on 25 March, confirming many of the rumours leading up to the event.
Among the features that HTC focused on most at the event were the “Duo Camera array”, and the new power saving modes of the HTC One M8.
As with the HTC One, the M8 features a 4 Megapixel (MP) “UltraPixel” camera which HTC says lets each pixel capture more light than most 13MP cameras.
The second camera is a depth sensor which, among other things, will let you refocus a photograph after taking it.
HTC has also included a power saver mode which it said can let the device last up to 2 weeks from a full charge. On 20% charge the HTC One M8 can get 60 hours of standby time, 30 hours on 10%, and 15 hours on 5%, HTC said.
South Africa’s mobile operators were previously asked when they would launch the device on contract, but have not yet been able to provide details on the official local launch of the HTC One M8.
