LG G Flex2 launch window for SA

The LG G Flex2 should be available in South Africa early in Q2 of 2015, the Korean electronics maker announced today, 12 January 2015.

LG unveiled the G Flex2 during its press event at CES in Las Vegas at the start of January, promising greater durability and user-friendliness than its predecessor.

Compared to the original G Flex, durability has been improved by 30% according to LG, further boasting that the device’s self-healing skin works in just 10 seconds.

Among the software features LG highlighted was Glance View, which lets you swipe down from the lock screen to turn on only a part of the OLED display to show notifications, and the time and date.

No pricing information has been released as yet, but in its initial announcement LG said the G Flex2 will be available from the end of January 2015 in Korea, with launches in additional markets to follow.
