Samsung unveils the Galaxy A8 – its thinnest smartphone ever

Samsung has unveiled its newest smartphone, the Galaxy A8, according to a report by Engadget.

The Galaxy A8 is billed as the company’s thinnest smartphone to date, at 5.9mm thick.

The phone features an all-metal body, weighs 151g, sports a full HD 5.7″ display, and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core + 1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 615 CPU.

One of the standout features of the device is its battery, which comes in at 3,050mAh – bigger than the Galaxy S6’s 2,550mAh battery.
