LG has launched its V10 smartphone, which features a small second screen above the main 5.7-inch display, and two front-facing cameras.
The second display works separately from the main screen and will show weather information, the date and time, and battery status.
LG said keeping the second screen on will not impact battery life.
When you bring the phone out of sleep mode, the top display will also show app shortcuts – even when you’re not on the home screen.
The two 5MP front cameras let you take selfies by taking two separate 80-degree angle images rather than one 120-degree wide-angle photo.
You will be able to select between a standard 80-degree selfie and the stitched-together image that uses both cameras.
LG said the V10 will be available in Korea from October, followed by the United States and China.
Additional markets and launch dates will be announced in the weeks to come.
The specifications of the device are below.
|Operating system||Android 5.1 Lollipop|
|Display||5.7″ QHD (1,440 x 2,560)|
