MTN iPhone 6s prices announced
MTN has unveiled its launch prices for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, which it said will be available on its network from 16 October.
Off-contract, the iPhone 6s will start at R12,599, while the iPhone 6s Plus will cost R14,499 upwards.
The network said its head office in Fairlands, Johannesburg, and flagship stores at Century City in Cape Town and at the Umhlanga MTN Gatemax store in Durban will be open for trade on the morning of the launch.
Customers can buy the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus from 00:01 at these stores on 16 October.
MTN also announced contract prices for the devices:
- iPhone 6s 16GB on My MTNChoice 100: R489 per month
- iPhone 6s Plus 16GB on My MTNChoice 100: R559 per month
MTN did not disclose the amount of data and SMS messages included in the contracts, but stated it is running a data promotion for customers who take out an iPhone contract in October.
Subscribers who upgrade or take out a new contract this month will receive an additional 10GB per month for the first 3 months of their contract.
