HTC launches new Android smartphone – One A9
HTC has launched its latest flagship Android smartphone, the One A9.
The device from HTC will start at $399, and is expected to go on sale in the first week of November.
The A9 runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor, 3GB of RAM, and comes with 32GB of storage – with a microSD slot available for cards up to 2TB in size.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow powers the device, which includes a fingerprint scanner and a 2,150mAh battery.
The AMOLED display comes in at 5 inches, with a 1080p resolution, while photo taking is courtesy of a 13MP camera on the rear and a 4MP HTC ultrapixel selfie camera on the front.
Visuals are processed by a Qualcomm Adreno 405 GPU.
