Samsung Galaxy S7 specs: what to expect

Rumours about the hardware specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have started to emerge, with industry leaker Evan Blass posting details on VentureBeat.
VentureBeat reported that features absent from Samsung’s 2015 flagships like microSD support and water and dust resistance ratings would make a comeback this year.
Removable batteries will not be returning to the Galaxy S range, but the S7 and S7 Edge are rumoured to have always-on display functionality.
This will let you glance at the screen to check notifications, and is said to consume roughly 1% of battery per hour.
Samsung will also reportedly trade resolution on the S7 camera for a wider aperture lens that sits flush against the case.
VentureBeat said Samsung is expected to announce its new range of smartphones ahead of Mobile World Congress, with global roll-out set to start in March.
