The smartphone that can fully charge in 15 minutes
Smartphone maker Oppo has shown off its SuperVOOC quick-charging technology at Mobile World Congress 2016, stating that users can fully charge their device in 15 minutes.
According to Engadget, Oppo said a flat 2,500mAh battery (a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, for example, has a 2,600mAh unit) can be charged to 100% in 15 minutes, with its technology working over micro-USB and USB Type-C cables.
“That’s even faster than what we’ve seen out of Qualcomm’s most recent Quick Charge 3.0 demos,” stated the report.
