Vodacom reseller Cellucity has revealed some statistics about its pre-registrations for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge.
Since pre-registrations opened on 22 February, Cellucity said it has seen great interest – with over 1,000 hits on its pre-order page every day.
Of the pre-registrations it has received, 66% were for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, with silver phones (38%) receiving slightly more interest than black ones (35%).

Customers who pre-order the smartphones will receive a free Samsung Gear VR, which is expected to sell separately for R1,500.
Samsung has also confirmed that the S7 devices sold in South Africa will run on its Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor, which has four 2.3GHz cores, and four 1.6GHz cores.
