The Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus have launched, following pre-orders from 9 September.

The iPhone 7 range has an ingress protection rating of IP67, meaning it is certified to survive being submerged in 1m of fresh water for 30 minutes.

Buyers have already started conducting drop and submersion tests, putting the devices through their paces.

The results of these informal tests suggest the iPhone 7 is a robust device.
