Xiaomi launches Mi Note 2 smartphone – pricing, details
Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi Note 2, a new smartphone with a dual curved-edge display similar to that on the Samsung Galaxy S-Edge series.
It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip with either 4GB or 6GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB internal storage, and a 5.7-inch OLED display – powered by a 4,070mAh battery.
Xiaomi used a 22.56MP sensor for the rear camera, while the front camera boasts a resolution of 8MP.
The company did not confirm the dimensions of the device or the resolution of its display.
The Chinese version of the phone will be available with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, while the global version will only be available in a 6GB+128GB variant.
Pricing is as follows:
- 4GB + 64GB Mi Note 2: CN¥2,799 (R5,724)
- 6GB + 128GB Mi Note 2: CN¥3,299 (R6,747)
- 6GB + 128GB Mi Note 2 (Global): CN¥3,499 (R7,156)
