Google adds Harry Potter spells to Android voice commands

Google has added several new voice commands for Android that correspond with spells from JK Rowling’s Wizarding World.

The additions form part of a promotion for a new film set in Rowling’s world called “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” – which opens worldwide in November.

Commands such as “Lumos” and “Nox” spoken after saying “OK Google” will turn your phone’s flashlight on and off.

Saying “Silencio” will silence your device’s ringtone and notifications.
