The Nokia 3310 is not indestructible – here’s proof

It is one of the Internet’s favourite legends – or memes, depending which age bracket you fall into – the indestructibility of the Nokia 3310.

The phone was launched in 2000 and sold over 120 million units worldwide, receiving praise for its great design and durability.

The Hydraulic Press Channel on YouTube put the durability of the device to the test, placing it under a “red hot hydraulic press” – simultaneously crushing the device and setting it on fire.

The 3310 did not survive, as shown in the video below.
