Apple will use OLED technology in the display of the largest iPhone 8, according to a report by the Nikkei Asian Review.
Apple will also sell two LCD-display versions of the iPhone 8, stated the report.
The largest iPhone 8 will feature a 5.8-inch curved OLED screen with a thin bezel. The smaller models are expected to come in at 4.7-inches and 5.5 inches.
Apple has previously been linked to a deal with Samsung to produce OLED panels for the new iPhone.
