Hisense has launched its C30 Rock smartphone in South Africa at a recommended retail price of R4,499.
The device is available at retailers nationwide, as well as selected online retailers, said the company.
First announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the device features a 5.2-inch Full HD display, 32GB of internal storage, and a hybrid dual nano SIM and microSD card slot.
This means the device can either accommodate two SIM cards, or a SIM and a microSD card.
The C30 Rock runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) platform and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
It also features an ingress protection rating of IP68, certifying it as dust and waterproof (1.5m in pure water for up to 30 minutes).
