Samsung to remotely kill Galaxy Note 7

Samsung will phase out the remaining Galaxy Note 7 devices in use through a forced software update that will prevent them from charging, The Korea Herald reported.

Samsung previously implemented measures in certain regions to prevent people from using their Note 7, such as preventing the device from connecting to local networks.
