Google Maps shows you where to turn with photos

Google has rolled out changes to its Maps app for Android, reported Android Police.

Planning a route will now display images from Street View in the directions screen. Tapping them will open Street View’s 360-degree viewer.

According to the report, Street View is oriented in the direction from where you will be approaching the turn.

The other change which has been rolled out is to the contextual button shown on screens, which Google calls the Floating Action Button.

Instead of a round “floating” button, Maps now contains a bar at the bottom with a rectangular button.
